01 / 03  Service for startups and SaaS teams

Brand and website for startups, built as one launch.

Positioning, identity and a website that ship together, so the first thing your market sees is one clear company, not three loosely related deliverables.

01 Who this is for

For teams about to be seen by their market properly for the first time.

This is for founders and marketing leads at seed to Series A startups, B2B and premium consumer, who are launching or relaunching and need the company to look and sound like one thing.

Typically the product works but the story does not yet. The deck says one thing, the logo another and the landing page a third. A launch, a fundraise or a first sales push is close, and a full agency programme would be too heavy and too slow.

Europe-based, CET, working with teams in the EU, US and Canada.

02 What you get

Four deliverables, designed together.

01

Positioning

A clear answer to who it is for, which problem you solve and why you.

  • One-page messaging document
  • Audience and value proposition
  • Language you can reuse in the deck and in sales
02

Identity

A visual identity that is distinctive enough to remember and simple enough to apply.

  • Wordmark or mark direction
  • Type, colour and usage rules
  • Applied to the website and key launch assets
03

Website

A fast, accessible, responsive site, designed and built from the identity.

  • Structure and copy built from the positioning
  • Designed and coded for performance
  • Clear path to the action that matters: demo, sign-up or contact
04

Launch tracking

So you can see what happens after launch instead of guessing.

  • Analytics and conversion events agreed up front
  • A simple view of the numbers that matter
  • Search basics: structure, metadata, sitemap

03 One launch, not three projects

Decisions made once, applied everywhere.

When brand and website are separate projects, the website team inherits a logo and a guidelines PDF and then reinterprets them. Messaging gets rewritten twice. Small contradictions ship.

Here the positioning drives the identity and the identity drives the site, in one conversation with one person. Fewer handovers, a more consistent result, and a launch date that is easier to hold.

04 How it works

Discover, Plan, Build, Grow.

  1. 1

    Discover

A short call to understand your business, goals and constraints. You leave with a written summary of what I understood and what I would do first.

  2. 2

    Plan

A clear scope, timeline and price before any work starts. We agree what the launch must achieve and what is out of scope.

  3. 3

    Build

Positioning, identity and website built in that order, with regular updates and working progress you can see and react to.

  4. 4

    Grow

Launch, measure and improve. Ongoing support if you want it, a clean handover if you do not.

05 Is it a fit

Honest about who this is, and is not, for.

A good fit if

  • You are seed to Series A, B2B or premium consumer
  • You have a product, or are close to one, and a date that matters
  • You want one accountable person across brand and site
  • You can give feedback in days, not weeks

Probably not if

  • You need a large multi-team brand programme
  • You want the lowest-cost template and nothing else
  • You need a purely platform-driven build with no design input
  • Nobody on your side can make decisions quickly

06 FAQs

Questions founders ask first.

Webflow or Framer, or custom code?

It depends on who will maintain the site. Webflow and Framer are good when your marketing team wants to edit pages without a developer and speed to launch matters most. Custom code is the better fit when you need tight control over performance and accessibility, bespoke interaction, integration with your product, or no platform lock-in. I will recommend one based on your team and plans, and I will tell you if a platform is the right call even when it means less custom work for me.

Who writes the copy?

We build the positioning together: who it is for, the problem, why you. From that I draft the website copy and you review it. Product facts, customer claims and numbers come from you; I do not invent clients, results or statistics.

What happens after launch?

You receive the site, the brand files and a short handover document so your team is not dependent on me. Launch tracking is in place from day one so you can see how people use it. If you want ongoing changes or support, we can agree that separately; it is not required.

How do we start?

With a discovery call. You tell me about the company, the stage and the date that matters. I will tell you honestly whether this fits and what a scoped engagement would involve.

07 Concept studies

Concept studies: a brand system and its launch page.

Self-initiated studies for fictional startups, built in code to show how I think about a brand system and the page that launches it. They are not client work and imply no results.

Kestryl: brand system boardConcept Study — self-initiated, not client work
The brief
A fictional climate-data startup with a capable product and no consistent look: the deck, the app and the site each used different type and colour.
Approach
Reduce the system to one mark, one wordmark, two typefaces and a tonal palette that works on screen and in print, so every new asset starts from the same rules.
What is shown
Mark, wordmark, type pairing, palette, a clear-space rule and three applications: avatar, card and banner. All names and content are invented.
Kestryl: launch site homepageConcept Study — self-initiated, not client work
The brief
A launch page that has to explain a technical product to a non-technical buyer in the time it takes to scroll once.
Approach
One headline, one action, then three plain steps. Everything else waits for a second visit.
What is shown
Navigation, a hero with a single call to action and a three-part explanation. Copy is invented for the fictional brand.

Tell me about your project.

Every project is scoped to your stage and budget. Tell me what you are building and where you are today, and I will reply with next steps.

  • Your stage and what is live today
  • The outcome you need, and by when
  • Who else decides, and who will maintain it
